I’m Penny Zeller and I write Christian romance—mainly historicals, but a few contemporary romances are peppered in for good measure. I seek to honor my Lord and Savior with every book I write. My books are all happily-ever-afters and all include faith, humor, and memorable characters.

I’m so excited to be a part of Faithbooks. Today, in celebration of the release of my book, Love’s Promise, Book #4 in my Wyoming Sunrise Series, I wanted to share with you some fun tidbits about the individual books in the series.

Love’s New Beginnings (Prequel) For this book, I had to research stagecoach rules in the 1800s for main character, Lydie’s, journey to Willow Falls in the Wyoming Territory. One such rule was no snoring on the stagecoach.
Forgotten Memories (Book #1) The humorous scene with Louie, the Red Angus calf in the schoolhouse, was inspired by a real-life interview for one of my nonfiction books.
Dreams of the Heart (Book #2) John Mark Eliason has consistently rated at the top of the list for swoon-worthy male characters in this series. Who wouldn’t adore this handsome deputy? For this book, I researched the different tasks sheriffs undertook in the 1800s, including keeping the peace, collecting taxes, keeping the streets clear of dead animals, and cleaning up manure.
When Love Comes (Book #3) I conducted a ton of research for this book, which includes reader favorites, Myrtle and Fern, the two aunts who cause quite a stir with their ornery antics. (By the way, don’t ever eat Aunt Myrtle’s huckleberry pie. Just sayin’.) I researched pie-eating contests, train robberies, and blacksmiths so I could craft handsome blacksmith, Tobias’s, character. Speaking of research… I discovered a story about a pie-eating contest in the late 1800s. During this contest, some unkind people decided to fill the pies with leather and nails. Yes, leather and nails. Needless to say, the perps were in a huge amount of trouble for their shenanigans.
Love’s Promise (Book #4) Who doesn’t love a redeemed hero? Silas McFadden, my brawny and rugged main male character, along with dapper Caleb from Forgotten Memories, both fit this description. A touching scene between main female character, Amaya, and her grandmother was fully handwritten in the dentist’s office while waiting for my daughter.

Hey friends! It’s my birthday (February 12th) and I am so excited to get to spend it here, with you! My name is Regina and I write Christian fiction - spanning women’s fiction (usually tackling hard topics like suicide, addiction, and unexpected pregnancies) to contemporary and historical Christian romance. (Other genres may come in the future, who knows!)
I love using words to convey themes, thoughts, settings, characters, and ideas. A great deal of joy fills my heart and bursts forth from my soul when I get the chance to pen timeless tales that I hope you will enjoy.
I grew up in Colorado, but for the last twenty years, I have called Oklahoma home. So you’ll see a lot of Oklahoma and Colorado in my stories. I’m trying to branch out, but as someone who has not traveled much, I stick to settings I know the best.
What you’ll find in my stories: Faith, Hope, and Healing. I love to write strong redemption arcs and stories of overcoming. I love writing characters with unwavering faith in Jesus just as much as I love writing characters that are full of doubt but find a way to trust Him.
When I’m not writing, I am chasing my youngest 3 of 7 kids around, along with my granddaughter. We have horses, dogs, cats, chickens, and catfish. We love to sit by the water and throw food out for the fish. The dogs and cats will try to investigate but they are all very afraid of the water monsters.
When the weather is good, my best friend and I try to take the kids for a trail ride every week. We have so much fun walking the trails while the kids ride their horses. It refreshed my soul when we started this tradition. I cannot wait to get back to it this year.

My name is Elizabeth Maddrey and I write unapologetically Christian romance full of relatable characters, realistic faith, and romantic ever-afters. When I first started out, my series were all set in the greater Washington DC area and focused on found family groups of friends. The large metropolitan church they attended was a little bit like a small town and tied my first four series together.

Then I moved away from the city to a small town in the foothills of southwestern Virginia, and from there to a ranch in northern New Mexico. Now, I’m back to the DC area with Christian billionaires.
